Sometimes in life, you get thrown curve balls that you never thought would be your reality........that happened to me in 2016. It's an important part of my story and how I started a business out of necessity.

Valentine's Day 2016, was just like any other Sunday. My family & I went to church, came home, had lunch & relaxed. My husband went down to the basement, as usual, to work out on the treadmill around 1:30. When it got to be 3:00, I thought he was taking longer than usual, so I went to check on him & found him on the floor. I called 911 & they coached me through CPR. It was not successful & I had to tell our 3 kids who were 20, 17 & 15 at the time that their dad was gone. 💔

So, I was at a crossroads. Major decisions had to be made & I was just in a state of trauma and grief. How was I going to support my family? My son was in college & both girls were still in high school. I knew I needed additional income, but just wasn't willing to leave my kids to work a second job at night, when they needed me most.

Enter Plexus.......I had started on the products in December 2015 & was aware that they came with a business opportunity attached if I chose to work it. So, I decided to go for it!

At 49, I had ZERO social media skills, but knew that I could learn! I worked my full-time job as a teacher during the day and my Plexus business whenever I could fit it in. I primarily worked my business on social media from my phone.

I thank God for Plexus every day!! I slowly built my business and it was a great source of income for my family! In 2020, I reached the point where I could take early retirement from teaching and pursue Plexus full-time.
